Week 7A - What does LCF like?

I chose to like Universal Music Publishing Group, ASCAP, Air Gigs, Live Nation San Diego, Guild of Music Supervisors, CD Baby, Silverback Music, Music X-ray, 17th Street Recording Studios as my business page.  I selected these companies and services because they are linked to the music industry in various ways.  Most of these companies will help our music generate actual income and reach more listeners who could become fans.  

For songs to be heard by industry folks and taken seriously, they need to be licensed and published.  ASCAP is a performing rights organization where song writers and publishers are registered and royalty payments can be collected.  Music supervisors guild, Music X-ray, and Universal Music Group are organizations that help get songs into movies or television shows, which generate royalties and income.  CD Baby is an independent online distributer and licensing company that helps artists get there music out to potential fans.  17th Street Studios is a well known recording studio in Los Angeles that will record and master songs to professional industry standards.  

I will use this feature to like industry professionals, other bands, and venues in order to increase LCF's presence on Facebook and engage with these organizations.  This will help our name get out there and potentially put LCF in a place to connect with the right people.  Connecting with other similar bands will help us join tours and gain other fans from groups that might already be successful and well known.
