Week 6B - Reach vs Engagement

Post reach is the amount of unique people who have seen the post, in their news feed, hashtag search or some other way.  Post engagement is the people who have actually clicked on the post links or commented, and have actually connected with the post.  This difference is important because reach doesn't mean much if you don't have engagement with the post itself.  If people actually access the post and show interest by liking or commenting, it will boost it and increase the reach.  Other people will respond to more popular and interesting posts too, and in turn it will continue to build a following.  Insights into the posts are important because they show detailed information on reach vs engagement, who is actually engaging, and popular times/days of access.  There is detailed demographic information too, so you can actually focus in on the target showing the most interest in the posts.  This way, your next posts can be tailored more for the interested followers, which will help increase reach and engagement for the page and future posts.
